I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Clos De La Cathedrale, an ancient home impeccably maintained by the elegant and sweet owner, Valérie. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and our room exceeded all expectations—a large, comfortable bed with luxury bedding and a spacious en-suite designed to perfection. The English style garden and terrace provided a tranquil setting to unwind, while the abundance of delicious breakfast served by Valérie herself was a true delight. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the spotless rooms with tea and coffee facilities to the exquisite decor dating back to 1791, truly made this stay exceptional. The central location allowed us to easily explore the charming town of Bazas and enjoy delectable dining options nearby, such as Hugo Delices and Le comptoir du Boeuf Pop.
